Percutaneous Endovascular Therapeutics (TEP) is a scientific symposium for health care professionals dedicated to Interventional Cardiology that promotes the exchange of scientific knowledge between Europe and Latin America.
Since its beginning in Santa Fe, Argentina, in 2001 it represents one of the most important educational exchanges between Southamerica and Europe, with a growing number of European Interventional cardiologists attending the meeting.
With a French group being the founders, the European audience has grown every year with Interventional Cardiologists from Italy, Germany and Greece among others, joining specialists from Argentina, Chili, Uruguay, and Brazil, sharing together distance transmission from sites in Latin America, Europe and United States.
A special emphasis is placed on Drug Eluting Stents, adjunct pharmacology, new devices, late-breaking clinical trials, controlled registry data, and technical challenges. Live case demonstration and discussion, during almost the half of the meeting time, remain one of the most important activities.
Free open discussion between the audience and guest faculty are encouraged and is one of the distinctive features of TEP.
The intense exchange of knowledge and experience between Interventional Cardiologists is an important and unique educational experience in this field.
The audience is expected to ask and discuss with the experts after each conference and during live cases.
